Celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Each year NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the history, achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The acronym NAIDOC stems from the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, who were once the organisers of the week.

Torquay Museum Without Walls would like to thank Jennie de Neefe for allowing us to republish her U3A Surf Coast presentation celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Click here or on the image to view the file.
