The latest History Matters Magazine is now available at the Torquay newsagents, featuring a range of story related to the Torquay district.
The cover features Rex ‘China’ Gilbert and inside the magazine there are stories of his life.
In this edition we also feature the story on Voss’s Lookout / Car Park and how it got its name; Catherine Tait: Invisible Guardian and her fight to have the farm put in her name; and a new section of stories from Bellbrae Cemetery begins this edition. We say thanks and farewell to two ladies who have contributed many photos and stories to our magazine and website – Maie Zorica and Myrle Hughes.
The digital version of History Matters is emailed to our subscribers, printed copies can be purchased through the Torquay Newsagency for $10.
